Barkham Festival 2025

York Region’s Largest Dog-Focused Festival Comes to Markham Museum!
Markham Museum is thrilled to partner with Markham Dog Alliance to host Barkham 2025, York Region’s largest dog-focused festival!
Barkham 2025 will transform 25 acres of scenic, dog-friendly space at Markham Museum into the ultimate pet-lover’s paradise. Visitors can browse an incredible selection of vendors offering unique products and services for both dogs and humans, indulge in delicious eats from food trucks, and take part in exciting games and activities throughout the weekend.
As a special keepsake, attendees can enhance their experience by adding a Markham Museum Pottery Session to their ticket, where they’ll create a personalized, dog-themed bowl to commemorate the event.
Barkham 2025 is a family-friendly event, with free admission for kids 10 and under as well as seniors 65+. Parking is also free and available in front of Markham Museum, though spots are limited—public transit is strongly encouraged. The event is wheelchair accessible, though attendees should note that most festivals occur outdoors on gravel pathways.
Whether you're a proud pet parent, a dog enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun-filled weekend, Barkham 2025 promises to be the most exciting dog-friendly event of the year!
