Jane's Walk

May 3 and May 4, 2025 

Thornhill: May 3, 2025 Saturday | 10:30 AM to 12 PM, or 1 PM to 2:30 PM

Meet at Robert West Heritage House (7780 Yonge Street)

The walk will explore Thornhill at around the time of Robert West's arrival. It is intended to have a visit inside the Heritage House and the end of the walk. The Heritage House is owned and maintained by the Thornhill Heritage Foundation.

The walk is led by David Rawcliffe.

Markham Village: May 4, 2025 Sunday | 10 AM to 12 PM

Meet at Markham GO Station (214 Main Street North)

The walk will explore Main Street Markham and historic Mount Joy. 

The walk is led by George Duncan. 

Downtown Markham: May 4, 2025 Sunday | 10 AM to 12 PM

Meet at Downtown Markham Presentation Centre (162 Enterprise Boulevard)

A walk through the new Markham downtown, with a city building, with a unique, community perspective to this development.       

The walk is led by Randy Peddigrew.
